The Boddington Community Resource Centre would like to publicly thank and acknowledge the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development - DPIRD for the grant of $9,120 under the ‘Technology and Innovation Grant’.

The grant has allowed us to purchase the ‘BENQ 75 inch Interactive Smart Board’, affectionately known locally as ‘Old Mate Benny’.

The BENQ 75 inch Interactive Smart Board is an amazing asset here at the BCRC, that can be utilised by the whole community for community workshops, business workshops and private functions.

The BENQ 75 inch Interactive Smart Board is available for hire with the Gallery.

Our first Djembe Drumming Circle

The first ever ‘Boddington Drumming Circle’ was a massive hit with more than 20 people who came a drummed their hearts out!

The BCRC received incredible feedback about this event and are currently putting together a grant application for funding to buy 20 Djembe drums.

This will allow us to run regular kids and adults drumming circles, and make them available for community events, festivals and community hire so that we can keep the joy going long term.

Plant swap and sell.jpg

The plant swap was a hit!

It was great to see so many local faces at our first Plant Swap & Sell.

Lots of beautiful plants were on display, swapped and sold to members of our community.

It was great to see a large variety of plants and flowers that had been grown in our very own back yars here in Boddington

Boddington recently had the privilege of having a free community information session to learn more about the NBN broadband access network.

The Boddington community attended this free session and had all NBN related questions answered.

It was a fantastic opportunity for all to learn the benefits of the NBN network.
